Currently, students needing financial assistance to attend Maharishi Academy have several options including the David Lynch Foundation and other private foundations.
The David Lynch Foundation
The David Lynch Foundation for Consciousness-Based Education and World Peace was founded in July 2005 to provide scholarships for school-wide Transcendental Meditation programs in public, charter, and private schools throughout the United States and around the world, and to provide funds for universities and research institutions to assess the effects of the program on creativity, intelligence, academic performance, ADHD and other learning disorders, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, eating disorders, etc.
Maharishi Academy is a "David Lynch School" and its students may receive full or partial scholarships to attend. Applicants who would like to apply should contact the Maharishi Academy Admissions Office for instructions.
Private Foundations
A variety of private foundations provide scholarships. Applicants who are interested in applying to a private foundation to attend Maharishi Academy should contact the Maharishi Academy Admissions Office for instructions.
